This edition of the Pelican Rapids Press, October 20, will be the final edition for “unpaid” political-election letters to the editor.
Readers who feel strongly about a political matter or candidate can express their views in paid advertising—in the Oct. 27 and Nov. 3 edition of the Press.
Letters of about 250 to 500 words can be placed as a paid ad—for approximately $50 to $100.

The editor will review all letters, for legal and libel concerns, general accuracy, and reasonable standards of good taste and appropriateness.
