Learn the basics of  hydroponic vegetable production in a hands-on workshop hosted by the Sustainable Farming Association’s Lake Agassiz Chapter, “Hydroponics 101,” from 1-4 p.m. Feb. 3 at Lakes Country Service Cooperative, 1001 E Mt Faith Dr, Fergus Falls.

A grower with over 30 years of experience, Barry Thoele of Barry’s Cherries will lead this event, which will feature the basic science, construction and operation of scalable hydroponic systems.

Those will share his expertise as a designer, builder and operator of aquaculture, hydroponic and wetland restoration projects of all sizes through an interactive presentation and hands-on activities.
