We would like to sincerely thank the teamsters and sponsors that made our 26th Lighted Horse Parade truly a successful event for our small town.
If not for the teamsters and sponsors we would not be able to have this event as part of the Old Fashioned Home Town Christmas. It was a beautiful day and evening with lots of activities to put everyone in the holiday spirit. This is what it is all about, coming together to implement activities to promote their small town and the community getting together to celebrate the activities.
We would also like to thank Superior Lakeside for stringing lights on the tree by the cannon, the Sheriff’s Posse, Ballard Sanitation, Police Dept., and the Street Dept. for security and maintenance, Sandi Strandlien and Kaylen, Judy Engebretson, Kirk and Janet Lindberg, Kathy Bergren, Estefany Martinez and Brett and JoAnn Frazier, volunteers at Historic City Hall, Justin Fure, Joe Clausen and Marco Zavala was sound system, Wayne and Dena Johnson for announcing, Farmers Elevator for the use of the staging area, Strand-Ace Hardware and Erickson Insurance for sponsoring the hay rides Merchants on the Move committee and the crew who helps get the parade organized and on route Jennifer Hams, Cindy Hensch, Kevin and Jeannie Berns, Paul Tabbut, Everett Ballard, and Shelly Johnson.
