The Red River Valley Asperger-Autism Network will hold its annual fundraiser, “A Taste of the World,” sponsored by the Anne Carlsen Center, on January 19, at the Dakota Medical Foundation in Fargo. The event raises funds that support individuals on the autism spectrum and their family and friends.
The evening will include a diversity of ethnic cuisines catered by Concordia College, wines from around the world provided by Cash Wise Liquor, entertainment, and a bottle and gift card auction. Festivities begin at 6:00 p.m. and end at 9:00 p.m. Emcees will be Mayiah, Rat and Zero from Y94’s Morning Playhouse.
The Cozmo String Quartet of Concordia College will provide music.

RRVAN is an eleven-year old nonprofit based in Fargo-Moorhead whose service area includes the Dakotas and Minnesota.
Its mission is to educate about, advocate for, empower and support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), their families and the community.
RRVAN activities include a Lunch and Learn at Anne Carlsen Center in Fargo for families and professionals; Game On at Section 9 Cyber Café for elementary age, teens, and adults; Legos and More Group for all ages; and family and caregiver support groups, all free of charge.
Autism Spectrum Disorder causes developmental challenges in children, teens and adults that affect socialization, learning, communication, behavioral and play skills.
