Jeff Johnson, Pelican Rapids native, will be performing at Maplewood State Park June 17.

Music will fill the air at Maplewood State Park, Saturday, June 17, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m., at the Josh Hanson Memorial Picnic Shelter.

Jeff Johnson, a former resident of Pelican Rapids and owner of the former Johnson’s Furniture in Pelican Rapids, will be returning to Maplewood State Park to share his vocal talents along with the guitar and some stories of Maplewood.

The evening will include some love songs of the 70s and 80s by John Denver and James Taylor. Jeff has written some songs about people from Pelican that he will also add into his performance.

Jeff has always been a supporter of Maplewood State Park and a charter member of the Friends of Maplewood. He has written about Maplewood. Woven into his music that night will be some of his stories about Maplewood State Park.
