A retired school teacher and Pelican Rapids High School graduate in the late 1960s, Jerry Ness, has carved out a unique retirement hobby. A storyteller at heart, Ness incorporates his woodcarving skills by creating characters โ€”and telling their stories. Most of the stories are inspired by his Norwegian Lutheran, small farm roots in rural Pelican Rapids.
