Jane Adeline Trosvik was born on September 18, 1937, in Pelican Rapids. Her journey came to a gentle close on August 8, 2025, at the Pelican Valley Senior Living.
She married Earl Trosvik on August 11, 1956, embarking on a life together filled with shared adventures and unwavering support for one another. She was a devoted member of Faith Lutheran Church in Pelican Rapids and spent twenty five winters embracing the warmth of Mission Texas where everlasting friendships were nurtured.
For three decades, Jane lent her skills to West Central Turkey, serving as an administrative assistant with grace and diligence. She was revered not only for her professionalism but for the warmth and kindness she extended to all who crossed her path.
Jane's family stood at the very center of her being. She is survived by her sister Marion and three children and their families; Daughter Kim and husband George, daughter Emily (Ryan) and children Nolan and Audrey; son Zach (Megan) and daughter Taylor; daughter Mackenzie (Daniel); and son Marc (Arianna) and son, Moisés; Son, Thomas and wife Tammy, their children; daughter, Brittany (Nathan) and their son, Carson. Son Devin Schell (Madison) and son Nash. Daughter, Hannah and her children; Kenyah, Phoenix, Portland and River; Daughter Filicity and partner Maggie, son Joseph (Savanna) and children Leighton, Greyson, and Tanzi: son Sheldon (Emily) and son Lewis: daughter Sydney (Collin) children Simon and Logan; and Alexis (Jamison) and daughter Ella.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earl Trosvik; her parents, Herman and Adeline Poss (Bunkowski); and her siblings, Cecil, Margie, and Billy and grandchildren Tyler and Alyssa Trosvik.
Jane's eternal love and devotion are best reflected in the profound connections she nurtured, particularly with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Perhaps her greatest accomplishment lay in the deep and abiding love she shared with them, a bond that will resonate through generations. Her connection with beauty and nature was captured in the way she loved gardening and spending time at the lake.
A memorial service was conducted for Jane on Tuesday, August 12th, 2025 at Faith Lutheran Church of Pelican Rapids.
