Katherine "Marge" Miosek

Marge Miosek, 89, passed away at the Frazee Care Center on Oct. 23, 2024. Prior to living there, Marge and her husband Frank (died in May 2023) were living in the Pelican Lake area since May 1973. They enjoyed operating the Pelican Beach Resort for a short time then running their own boat lift and repair business. Health issues made the need for selling their home and moving to the care center. Although dementia & other health concerns occasionally got her down, Marge kept a good attitude until the end. On Wednesday she took her last breath and peacefully passed away; now to join her husband and other loved ones who have gone before her into heaven.
A memorial service will be conducted for Marge at Zion Lutheran Church of Pelican Rapids on Friday, November Ist beginning with a time for visiting with family at 1pm, formal services at 2pm, with inurnment at Zion Cemetery immediately to follow. A reception of fellowship and refreshments will follow at the church, after the cemetery committal.
