Dennis F. Campbell

Dennis Floyd Campbell peacefully passed away in his sleep, on September 13, 2024 at Oak Crossings, Detroit Lakes. Dennis was born on December 9, 1949 in Normal, IL. He was raised by his father, Floyd, and his stepmother, Bev Campbell.
Throughout the many adventures in his life, he served in the Navy, where he got to travel as far as Iceland. He was honorably discharged in 1972. His wife, three sons, and himself soon left Illinois, for Minnesota. They soon made their home in Pelican Rapids, MN. Although the marriage didn't last, Dennis was able to find love again. In 1991, Dennis married, the love of his life, Rebecca Marquardt. Together they made their home outside of Pelican

Denny was a "Jack of all trades", but took great enjoyment in cooking and knife making. He loved the outdoors, including fishing, hunting, trapping and gardening. Before retirement, he was a meat cutter for Heart O' Lakes Meats, which he loved.
He will be remembered by many for the experiences and memories that were created by knowing this man.
He is survived by his wife, Becky. His sister, Shawn, his sons: Josh (Amanda) Campbell, Jake (Jessica) Campbell, and Jene (Sarah) Campbell. Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, and a Nephew.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, his brother, Tim, his brother, Mark, and sister-in-law, Pam.
Celebration of life will be held September 29th, 2024 at 12pm at the Pelican Rapids VF W.
