Enterprising Pelican Valley seniors set up shop—sales aids schools

An enterprising crew of residents at Pelican Valley Senior Living, foreground, hosted a rummage sale and lunch Aug. 24.  Proceeds from the event were donated to the Pelican Rapids schools—to help purchase classroom supplies.  
Representing the school, and holding a giant check for $660, are school representatives, from left, Brian Korf, Doug Bruggeman, Lisa Petznick, Pam Eiden and Angie Westby.
