The old stone bathhouse, pictured here, would be demolished, and although Council Member Steve Strand supported the motion, he remembered the park and the old rock shower house with fondness. “That’s really sad. . . what about the rocks…” said Strand. When the building is demolished, don’t be surprised to see Council Member Strand salvaging the stones, one rock at a time.
