CITY OF ERHARD, MINNESOTA PUBLIC NOTICE Notice of Filing for City Election

Notice is Hereby given, that filing for Mayor and three(3) city council positions will open Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. and close Tuesday, August 13th at 5:00 p.m.
Offices to be Filled: One (1) Mayoral position which serves a two (2) year term, one (1) Council member position that serves a two (2) year term, and two (2) Council member positions that serve a four (4) year term. All terms begin, January 1, 2025.
Affidavits of Candidacy will be available at the Erhard City Hall, 509 Main Street and at the local Post Office lobby. You much state which seat or position you are filing for on your Affidavit. All candidates much be met the following qualifications:
• Must be an eligible voter
• Have no other affidavit on file as a candidate for any other office
• Is, or will be on assuming office, 21 years of age or older
• Will have maintained residency in the city of Erhard for no less than 30 days before the election and
• Must pay a $2.00 filing fee at the time of filing.
