Toilet-torching incident at Pelican city park is suspected vandalism

Pelican Rapids Volunteer Firefighters responded to a blaze at the city’s Sherin Park June 26. The fire consumed two portable toilet units, and damaged the west side of the restrooms and shower building in the park—on the south side of the Pelican River.
