    From the high-energy beats of Duniya Drum & Dance, at left, to the traditional
choreography of Ballet Folklorico, above, the International Friendship Festival continues
to transform Pelican Rapids into a global crossroads.
The festival returns June 20 with a diverse schedule of six performing groups,
including the debut of the klezmer ensemble Di Bayke and the return of Argentine
muralist Gurí.

    The Viking 4x200m relay surpassed expectations at the State Meet to put them on the podium with a 4th-Place finish and broke the school record for the 4th time in a row. Aleeya Stringer-Ferris, Morgan Korf, Ellie Carlson, and Megan Guler executed near-perfect hand-offs to run a 1:44.47 in the event.
