Lakes Country Service Co-op directors elected

Lakes Country Service Cooperative(LCSC) announces the results of the 2022 Board Election held in November.
Henning School Board Chair Reed Reinbold won his re-election bid to the Board of Directors. LCSC welcomes Rothsay School Board Chair Justin Phillips to his first term on the LCSC Board.
Reed Reinbold has been employed by the Otter Tail Sheriff’s Office since 2004 and currently serves as Chief Deputy. Reinbold has worked with Otter Tail County schools, churches, and businesses to provide active shooter training since 2006 and is presently a certified ALICE instructor.
In 2022 Reinbold was selected for the MSC Outstanding Service Award for his work with the LCSC Board of Directors. Reinbold lives with his wife and family in rural Henning.
Justin Phillips joins the LCSC Board of Directors with ten years of service on the Rothsay School Board, where he is the current board chair. He was named a 2020 Emerging Leadership Ambassador in Wilkin County and volunteers with the local Oscar Trondhjem 4-H Club. He is a member of the Rothsay Baptist Church and farms near Rothsay, where he lives with his wife and family.
Lakes Country Service Cooperative currently has an 11-member board with two superintendents from West Central Minnesota serving as ex-officio members of the board; Superintendent Phillip Jensen, Hawley Public Schools, and Superintendent Dan Posthumus from Wheaton Public Schools.
In addition, at its regularly scheduled January meeting, the Board of Directors elected Jon Karger of Pelican Rapids to continue as Chair. Suzanne Wing of Ashby was voted Vice Chair, Paul Ness of Battle Lake was elected Clerk, and Jim Fish of Fergus Falls was voted Treasurer.
LCSC provides programs and services to school districts, cities, counties, and government agencies throughout the region.
