Estate planning, wills, trusts, and more will be the subject of a Pelican Rapids Community Education session February 1.

The instructor will be Chad Miller, attorney from Krekelberg Law, Pelican Rapids, and Fergus Falls.  

This class will cover an overview of the basic estate topics, and the state of current Minnesota law regarding them. The class will discuss probate and how a will affects the probate process. Also covered will be Revocable and Irrevocable Trusts and their use in estate planning. 

Finally, Miller will talk about Powers of Attorney, Health Care Directives, and the current status of Estate and Gift taxation. 

This class is meant to be interactive, and questions are encouraged, so please come prepared to discuss these issues.

The class is February 1 from 6-8 p.m. at the Pelican 

Rapids High School Media Center–enter west door number 8.
