Larson, Olson re-elected

In a four-way race for three seats on the Pelican Rapids School District 548 board, two incumbents will return to office.

Joining the board is a newcomer, but a veteran educator and school administrator.  

The newcomer is Staci (Tollerud) Allmaras, who was the second top vote-getter.  The former Rothsay school principal garnered 1,675 votes.  

The top vote-getter was Brenda Olson, who won her second, four-year term on the board. She received 1,908 votes. 

Incumbent Greg Larson collected 1,602 votes. 

Political newcomer Billy Milbeck drew 1,377 votes, coming up short in the four-way race.
