Royal court announced, football game Friday, Gala-Hall of Fame evening planned

The grandstand will be packed with fans, similar to the Sept. 16 home game against rival Barnesville, pictured here.

Homecoming Week will be a busy one at Pelican Rapids High School, with coronation launching the week on Monday, Sept. 26.

Student activities continue all week in school, with the Homecoming Tailgate Party for families and fans, on Sept. 30, at 5 p.m. Game time is 7 p.m., with the Viking football team taking on Ottertail Central. 

The Saturday night Viking Gala and Hall of Fame induction program has become a tradition over the past three years, with one interruption due to the COVID pandemic. 

The Gala and Hall of Fame program is at the Pelican VFW Saturday evening, Oct. 1. 

The Pelican Rapids High School Student Council has announced the royal court for Homecoming Coronation, which will be hosted 7:30 p.m., Sept. 26, at the Fine Arts Auditorium.
