Young dancers, from youngsters to teens, took a trip into the past with a 1970s-theme show of lively movement.

“Feeling Groovy” was the theme for the spring “Just For Kix” show at the Pelican Rapids High School Leaders Gym May 2.

Friends, family, parents—and grandparents—filled the grandstand for the program, which featured pre-kindergarteners to ninth-grade dancers in the Kix program. The local Kix program is under the direction of Amy Potts, who organized the spring show.

Peppy music and glittering costuming drew frequent and generous applause from the large audience.

Pictured are assorted photos of the different age groups, which range from Tiny, to Petites, to Wee Kix, to Mini Kix, and middle school dancers.

Potts is enrolling students for the 2020-23 Kix season. For information, call 218-689-0929.
