Stewart fires her best round of season

The final HOL tournament was played at Wildflower Golf Course on a rainy day.

In spite of the weather, Mia Stewart shot her best round of the year with nines of 54-48 for a total of 102.

The rest of the scores were Sophia Kulsrud 122, Addison Tweeton 122, Emma Seter 124 and Emily Haiby 144.

The team beat out Breckenridge and DGF to place 5th.

The south half of Section 8AA was played June 1 at Headwaters Golf Club in Park Rapids.  The top 3 tams and the 6 top individuals not on those three teams would qualify to advance to the Sectional Tournament in Bemidji.  We had two girls qualify to advance.  Mia Stewart shot 116 and Emma Seter 118 to place the top 6 indiividuals.

The Section 8AA tournament was June 7 and 8 at Bemidji Town and Country Club.  The first day saw Emma shoot at 118 and Mia 113.  (In spite of a 13 on the first hole).  Emma shot 118 again the second day with mia cutting 6 shots off her first day score to come in with a 107.

“Both days the weather was very hot and the course played very difficult,” said Coach John Eidsness. “It was fun to see the girls compete and have to overcome adversity each day.”
