Pelican ballfields bustle during June heat wave

The Pelican Rapids baseball diamonds were full of bustle, hustle—and heat— Monday, June 7, as Little League and Babe Ruth teams played on two fields. Temperatures were tropical, but ice cream at the concession stand helped cool down fans. 

The fields are in good condition, despite the dry, heatwave conditions.
