North Immanuel Lutheran Church is celebrating its 150th birthday in summer 2021.
With special outdoor music programs the 2nd and 4th Sundays in June, July, & August, there will be plenty of opportunities to sing happy birthday—and praise the Lord.
The centerpiece of North Immanuel’s anniversary summer will be the August 8 celebration, featuring the gospel music of the popular “Granders.”
North Immanuel has been described as the “Mother Ship” of immigrant Norwegian Lutheran parishes in the predominately Norwegian farm communities that evolved west of Pelican Rapids.
Details of the 150th celebration are pending.
Worship is at 9 a.m., with fellowship meal to follow on the music Sundays.
Launching the twice-monthly music is Lee Brenna and Company, June 13.
On June 27, Fred Walters will be featured.

In the event of rain- worship service and fellowship will be indoors.
