Minnesota National Bank has announced that Matthew Strand to the bank’s Board of Directors.
Strand has been a resident of Pelican Rapids for most of his life and is a graduate of Pelican Rapids High School.
Strand continued his education at Concordia College Offutt School of Business.
In 2017 Strand, along with his wife Elizabeth, returned to Pelican Rapids to become third generation owners of Strand Ace Hardware in downtown Pelican. Prior to his return to Pelican Rapids, Strand held positions supporting National Security at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center and the Air Force Research Laboratory. Strand also served as Director of Dayton Area Operations for PAR Government Systems Corporation.

Minnesota National Bank has three locations in Sauk Centre, Long Prairie, and Pelican Rapids.
