State of Minnesota County of Otter Tail

Pursuant to the provisions of Minnesota Statute 394.26 NOTICE is hereby given that a public hearing will be held before the Otter Tail County Board of Adjustment at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2020 for considering applications for variance for the following. PLEASE NOTE, due to COVID-19, the public hearing will be conducted via telephone or other electronic means as allowed under Minnesota Statutes, Section 13D.021. Please refer to the Otter Tail County website or call the Land and Resource Department to learn how to attend the public hearing via telephone or electronically.

  1. Kurt & Tracie Stellrecht, Pt of GL 2 Com Most Ely Cor Lot 2 Blk 1 of Trowbridge Point, Section 16 of Candor Township by Leek Lake, request a variance from the ordinary high-water level setback requirement of the Shoreland Management Ordinance.
  2. Mike & Char Solberg, Lots 28 & 29 Blk 1 of Haugen’s Point, Section 17 of Dunn Township by Pelican Lake, request a variance from the platting process, 1 dwelling permit lot & impervious surface coverage in the shore impact zone requirements of the Shoreland Management.
  3. Thomas & Sandra Pearce, Lot 46 of Broadwater Beach, Section 7 of Dunn Township by Pelican Lake, request a variance from the ordinary high-water level setback, lotline setback and impervious surface coverage requirements of the Shoreland Management Ordinance.
  4. Brad & Lisa Borgen, Tr in Lot 4, 75’ on lake & designated as Lot 4, Section 9 of Lida Township, by Lida Lake, request a variance from the ordinary high-water level setback, lotline setback and impervious surface coverage requirements of the Shoreland Management Ordinance.
  5. Jim & Sherry Heyer, Lot 1 Blk 1 of Heyer’s Addn. Pelican Point & Lot 12 Blk 1 of Pelican Point First Addn., Section 4 of Dunn Township, by Pelican Lake, request a variance from the impervious surface coverage requirement of the Shoreland Management Ordinance.
