Visitor restrictions continue at the Pelican Valley Senior Living center in Pelican Rapids.

Screening of staff, daily as they enter the building, has also been instituted at the care facility—which has about 71 residents and patients.

Employees are screened  by checking for fevers, and also for respiratory symptoms. There are about 125 employees at Pelican Valley.

In addition to residents, Pelican Valley employees are also screened daily.

Pelican Valley, and its management company Knute-Nelson, are working in a digital connection program, which will allow families to communicate and keep in touch with family and friends—in or outside of the building.  Pelican Valley was hoping to launch the online connection program by the weekend of March 21-22.
