Sheriff deputies inform county residents that it is okay to be served by UPS employees who are driving personal vehicles.
Some residents had expressed concerns when UPS service drivers delivered packages from unmarked personal style vehicles.
“UPS supervisors informed us at the sheriff office that during times of peak demand, during the holiday season, there will be times when UPS employees will need to make deliveries in personal vehicles,” said County Sheriff Administrative Lt. Keith Van Dyke on Nov. 21.
Van Dyke said these drivers are either in uniform or have clear UPS identification.
