Injuries were reported in two separate traffic accidents near Perham, on Thursday morning, Dec. 29.

The first accident took place at 9:52 a.m. on Highway 10, just west of Perham.

The State Highway Patrol said a Honda Civic was traveling eastbound on Highway 10, in the right lane and passing a MNDOT truck. The driver lost control of the vehicle, hit the median and rolled into the ditch, suffering a personal injury.

Later the same morning, at 10:39 a.m., injuries were reported in a three-vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 78 and Minnesota Street, south of Perham. Details on the injuries were not available from the State Highway Patrol.

Otter Tail County sheriff deputies said roadways were icy in many sections of the county on Dec. 29. Vehicles went off the roadway of Interstate 94 near Fergus Falls and Dalton, Highway 1 in the southwestern section of the county, Highway 5 near Clitherall and the junction of Highway 108 and 410th Street east of Pelican Rapids.
