The Vikings hosted Park Rapids on Tuesday night in a non-conference game.  The Vikings were defeated by the Panthers 58-37.

“We turned the ball over too many times and allowed them too many second and third opportunities,” commented coach Brian Korf.

Both teams struggled to score for the first ten minutes of the game but the Panthers pulled away from the Vikings before halftime 23-16.

The Vikings scored 21 points in the second half and allowed 35 Panther points in the second half.  The Vikings shot 25% from the field while the Panthers shot 37% from the field.  The Vikings had 31 turnovers while Park Rapids had 20 turnovers.

The Vikings https://startupsouth.org/buy-singulair-online/ made 11 of 16 free throw attempts while Park Rapids made 3 of 6 free throws.  “I was pleased with us getting to the free throw line and getting to the basket,” said Coach Korf.

Leading the Vikings in scoring was Adriana Torres with 16 points and Grace Johnson with 6 points.  Sarah Thompson scored 4 points and Kaylie Isaman and Maddie Guler had 3 points each.  Rachel Gottenborg and Kristen Haiby chipped in 2 points each and Morgan Berg scored 1 point.

Torres led the Vikings with 12 rebounds and Thompson grabbed 6 rebounds. Isaman and Berg had 5 rebounds each.
